Skydiving - Tandem Skydiving near Vienna, Lower Austria, Wiener Neustadt
Our club was founded in 1972 and has significantly influenced the development of skydiving in Austria. As one of the largest skydiving clubs in Austria, some of our members have decades of experience. Here, you’ll meet instructors with over 12,000 jumps.
A tandem jump offers you the possibility to experience freefall, completely safe, after a short instructional-training. Either for yourself or as a present, get the feeling of freedom and adrenalin with the Para Club Wiener Neustadt.
Vouchers and Booking
- Vouchers can be purchased online
- Voucher is sent by email and can be printed immediately
- With the voucher code you can book an appointment online
- Voucher expired - send voucher code to tandem@paraclub.at
- Groups - depending on availability, up to seven passengers can jump together
- A camera flyer can only film one person during free fall
Requirements
- Minimum height 145 cm
- Minors require consent from a legal guardian and must be accompanied by an adult supervisor, who does not have to participate actively
- Weight - 90 kg to 115 kg with surcharge . The surcharge is necessary as higher material wear occurs and the weight may reduce the maximum number of people in the aircraft
- Glasses and contact lenses are not a problem
- A generally good physical condition. If you have concerns after operations, injuries or illnesses, please consult your doctor
- Older passengers should consult a doctor beforehand. As we would like to accommodate the needs of older guests, please contact us before purchasing a voucher
- Skydiving with physical impairment - in principle, a tandem skydive is possible with physical impairment. Conditions such as paraplegia, blindness or other limitations generally do not pose an obstacle. So that we can assess whether a jump is possible, please contact us before purchasing a voucher
Procedure

- Meeting point - arrive 30 minutes before your appointment (short briefing)
- Clothing - athletic shoes, comfortable sportswear, long pants, gloves in spring and autumn
- We also provide you with a jumpsuit, a protective cap, and goggles
- Show voucher code on your phone on site - a printout is not required
- On site you must sign a passenger transport agreement
- Your tandem instructor explains the jump procedure and puts on your student harness, which will later be connected to the instructor’s harness
- The flight to jump altitude takes about 12 minutes
- After the jump you experience about one minute of free fall
- The parachute opens at over 1000 meters altitude
- In calm conditions your instructor will show you how to steer the fully controllable parachute
- You can also leave the steering to the instructor
- You decide whether to float gently to the ground from high altitude or descend in steep spirals
- At about 300 meters your instructor takes over control again
- Landing - hands on the side passenger straps, lift your knees, lower legs slightly forward and follow the instructor’s instructions
Time required
The procedure takes approximately 60 minutes.
We recommend planning 2 to 3 hours, as weather conditions or air traffic at Vienna Airport may cause unpredictable delays.
Weather
We strive to inform you as early as possible by SMS if the weather or wind conditions are unfavorable for the jump.
In rare cases, however, it may happen that we can only inform you of a cancellation on site.
In case of cancellation, your voucher code will be reactivated until the end of its validity so that you can book a new appointment online.
People with disabilities
We are happy to enable people with physical disabilities to do a tandem skydive.
Paraplegia, blindness or other impairments generally do not pose an obstacle. However, please consult your doctor beforehand.
